I design and personally accompany—on site or remotely—private day experiences and journeys in Tokyo and elsewhere in Japan. The Citrus Sommelier certification was introduced in Japan in 2020. It is currently the single citrus sommelier certification system in the world. A citrus sommelier is someone deeply invested in the knowledge and the dissemination of that knowledge to the greater public.
I am the first non-Japanese holder of the Citrus Sommelier certificate. Besides professional trips around citrus in Japan, I organise private tasting sessions everywhere in Japan, including remote tasting experiences with the best seasonal fruits sourced from selected producers. |
