If you are new to Tokyo or still puzzled by the mysteries of so many food and ingredients when shopping or at restaurants, this private tour in selected Tokyo neigborhoods will put the record straight and turn you into a cognoscenti of the essential Japanese edible and the basic grammar of eating or cooking. We will tour either Kagurazaka or Nihonbashi district, sample seasonal food, and thoroughly understand the key ingredients of daily Japanese cooking. Saké sampling may start early too. Destinations will be selected for the purpose to support local independant food business and contribute to the return of a normal and delicious life.

How to use the special offer:
- Tours are produced on demand, discussed for details and preferences, and are totally private for parties of one to three guests.
- This tour takes place either in Kagurazaka or Nihonbashi district, cruising the locations on foot.
- A tour starts from 10 am for a minimum of 4 hours including lunch time.
- Travel, food sampling and lunch costs are on yours. Lunch takes place in a recommended restaurant agreed upon prior to the tour and selected for quality, authenticity and full enjoyment.
- As a principle, I recommend you enjoy lunch on your own, without your guide, for the sake of privacy.
